Cookie policy
Which cookies this website uses, why, and how to control them.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way. They let a website remember your device and your choices.
This policy explains which cookies copperfire.co.uk uses, why, and how you can control them.
The cookies we use
- Essential: needed for the website to work, for example to remember your cookie choice, your light or dark mode setting, and to run the booking calendar. These do not need your consent.
- Analytics (optional): set by Google Analytics, which we run through Google Tag Manager. They help us understand how visitors find and use the website, such as which pages are read most, how far people scroll, which links and downloads they click, and where visits come from, so we can improve it. These are only set if you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner.
With your consent, we also turn on Google Signals. For visitors who are signed in to a Google account and have allowed ad personalisation in their Google settings, this lets Google Analytics report on device usage and broad demographics and interests, such as age range. We only see these reports in aggregate, never for an individual visitor. You can control this in your Google account settings (opens in a new window).
We do not run advertising on this website, we do not use these cookies to show you adverts elsewhere, and we do not sell any data collected through cookies.
If you choose “Essential only”
We use Google Consent Mode. If you choose “Essential only”, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager do not set or read any analytics cookies on your device. Google’s tags may still send limited, cookieless pings, such as that a page was viewed, with no identifier that remembers you between visits. Google uses these to estimate overall visitor numbers. They are not used to identify you.
If you arrive on this website from a link with campaign information in its address, such as from a newsletter, that information may be kept in the address of the pages you visit next, rather than in a cookie, so we can see which campaigns bring people to the site.
Cookie list
Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by other companies whose services we use, such as Google for analytics and Cal.com for booking calls. These companies handle the information under their own privacy policies. Pages on other websites we link to, such as LinkedIn or Trustpilot, may also set their own cookies once you visit them.
Managing your choices
When you first visit this website, a banner asks whether you accept optional analytics cookies or want essential cookies only. You can change your mind at any time.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the website, such as the booking calendar, from working properly.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if the cookies we use change. The date at the top shows when it last changed. For more about how we use personal information, see our Privacy policy.
