Kyles Collection: A custom Shopify store with B2B wholesale

Kyles Collection is a long-established jewellery business. We migrated it from a bespoke e-commerce platform to a Shopify store that is easier for the team to manage, building a fully customised theme around the brand and a B2B wholesale extension with a custom backend, so trade customers get their own pricing, ordering and account experience. Retail and wholesale now run from a single store, without a separate trade site to maintain. We also implemented multiple integrations and automation workflows, with a heavy emphasis on go-to-market strategy across the UK and North America.

Solace: A Shopify store connected to the ERP

Solace needed a Shopify store that reflected its brand and worked with the systems behind the business. We extended the Shopify theme and integrated the store with Solace’s ERP and numerous 3PL providers to support stock taking and inventory management, so orders, stock levels and customer data stay in sync without manual re-keying. Stock shown online stays accurate, the team spends less time on admin, and the store is ready to extend as the range grows.

Can you build checkout and customer account extensions?

Yes. We build checkout UI extensions, customer account extensions and Shopify Functions on Shopify’s current extensibility platform.

Can you set up B2B and international selling?

Yes. We configure Shopify B2B (company accounts, catalogues, price lists and payment terms) and Shopify Markets for regional pricing, currencies, languages and domains.

Can you work on our existing store?

Yes. We extend live stores without downtime, building and testing on a development store first.

How much does a Shopify developer cost?

Every project is scoped and priced before work starts, so you know the cost up front. As a guide only, Shopify builds start from £1,500. The price depends on scope: custom apps, checkout extensions and integrations cost more than theme work.

Should I hire a Shopify developer, a freelancer or an agency?

A developer or freelancer suits small, well-defined tasks. For work beyond the theme, such as checkout, integrations or B2B, you want someone who can make the architecture decisions as well as write the code. We are a senior-led Shopify Partner, with one team accountable from first call to handover, and we work alongside your in-house developers or other agencies.

Do I need Shopify Plus to customise checkout?

It depends on what you want to change. Some checkout customisations are limited to Shopify Plus, while others work on other plans. We check your plan against what you need and tell you what is possible, and whether an upgrade would be worth it.

Can you build a custom Shopify theme?

Yes. We build fully custom themes around your brand, as we did for Kyles Collection and Solace, and we can also adapt an existing theme if that is the faster route.

Can you build a custom Shopify app?

Yes. We build custom apps and Shopify Functions for logic a theme or an off-the-shelf app cannot provide, such as bespoke discounts, delivery rules, validation and back-office workflows.

Can you connect Shopify to our ERP, CRM or accounting system?

Yes. We sync orders, stock, customers and payouts between Shopify and the systems behind the business, such as your ERP, CRM and Xero, so nobody has to re-key data.

Who owns the store and the code?

You do. Your Shopify store, apps, repositories and documentation belong to you, set up in your own accounts from day one.
